Dr. Rodney G. Payne has been practicing orthodontics in Utah since 2006. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Towson University in 1997 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2003. He then specialized in Orthodontics through a 3 year orthodontic residency at the University of Maryland Dental School where he received his Orthodontic Certificate and Masters of Science in Oral Biology in 2006.
During Dr. Payne's residency he participated on the cleft lip and palate team at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has had extensive training in TMD and Orthognathic surgery. He is Invisalign Certified and enjoys serving as a basic life support instructor for Heart Savers.
Dr. Payne is an Orthodontist who belongs to many professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, Utah Orthodontic Association, and the American Dental Association.
Orthodontics is Dr. Payne's passion; he loves creating beautiful smiles and cherishes the relationships he has with his patients. Dr. Payne and his wife have been married for 14 years and they have 2 children, Dillon and Olivia. He enjoys tennis, skiing, camping and spending time with his family.
